It's a busy few weeks with our Spring Wreath Making Session, Eco April events and school disco approaching.
ECO APRIL!
Eco April 2026 is almost here — and We’ve got a brilliant line-up of eco-friendly activities for families this April 🌍💚
Earn your Eco Pin Badge
Take part in something eco-friendly during April and receive an enamel Eco Pin Badge for your blazer. You could commit to a plastic-free day, carry out a home energy check, take part in a litter pick, or build on something you started last year. We’d love to see your eco efforts, so please do send us your photos via social media or email (pta@townclose.com).
Nature Treasure Hunt – Saturday 18 April
Join us for our nature / geocache-inspired treasure hunt at Whitlingham Country Park. Bring the whole family and enjoy a wild adventure in nature, with age-appropriate challenges for children from Nursery to Year 8. There will be simple picture-based nature clues for younger children, and much trickier cryptic geocache-style challenges for older ones.
Tickets will be sold in time slots between 10am and 3pm, so pick one that works best for you - the treasure hunt should last approximately 45-90minutes.
Tickets are on sale now — just £15 per family group.
Group Litter Pick – Sunday 26 April
Come along to our group litter pick on Lakenham Way in the city centre. A great way to make a difference together — and badges will be awarded.

SCHOOL DISCO!
Our first school disco is nearly here… and tickets go live on Wednesday 25th March!
We’re really looking forward to this one — there will be discos for each year group (excluding Year 8, who will have their own leavers’ disco shortly after 8th May).
You can find all the timings on the poster.
We’ll share more details on drop-off and pick-up arrangements, food and everything else a little closer to the event.
We can’t wait to see the children enjoying it! 🎉

Our Quiz Night was great fun and it was reassuring to see 2 of the 3 staff tables taking first and second in the place! Well done to all the teams and thank you to all of the PTA, parents and staff who supported such a fun event.

We have an amazing community at Town Close and a passionate Parent Teacher Association (PTA) who work closely with the school to raise additional funding through our events and second hand uniform shop.
